Job Overview

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Medical Financial Analyst to become a pivotal member of our team. This position is ideally suited for individuals who possess exceptional project management capabilities and a strong background in financial reconciliation, particularly within the managed care sector. You will significantly contribute to the analysis of pricing structures, financial trend monitoring, and the enhancement of Charge Master processes in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead in managing a variety of financial projects, collaborating closely with your manager to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct comprehensive financial reconciliations throughout both the ‘Pre-Bundle’ and ‘Post-Bundle’ phases.
• Formulate and sustain precise pricing models with a focus on service bundles.
• Support the development and management of the Charge Description Master (CDM) and Charge Master.
• Monitor financial trends monthly, proactively identifying and rectifying potential discrepancies.
• Analyze and interpret managed care contracts, emphasizing CPT codes and healthcare-specific terminology.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project objectives and advance organizational initiatives.
• Uphold compliance with internal policies and external regulations to maintain financial integrity.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of three years of experience in managed care contracts or a closely related field.
• In-depth understanding of managed care contract terminology, inclusive of CPT codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Prior experience with EPIC and financial reconciliation processes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, coding, and pricing strategies is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail in financial analysis.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a relevant discipline is required.
