Job description

Job Overview

Join our dynamic and rapidly expanding household management organization as an HR Generalist, where your passion for supporting others can truly shine. In this remote role, you’ll play an integral part in managing diverse HR functions, assisting managers and personal assistants, and ensuring adherence to established HR policies and procedures. This position is available to candidates located in Washington state due to periodic in-person meetings held twice a year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, and offboarding.
  • Manage onboarding activities including the issuance of offer letters, conducting new hire orientations, I-9 verification, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Act as the HR Information System (HRIS) administrator, guaranteeing the accuracy and integrity of personnel data.
  • Process biweekly payroll and efficiently address any related issues.
  • Administer paid time off policies, workers’ compensation, and leave management.
  • Produce reports and analytics pertaining to employee data and metrics.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including the 401(k) program.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the employee experience in collaboration with the leadership team.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Support recruitment efforts, providing compliance guidance and best practices while hiring for administrative and management roles.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all employee-related information.
  • Stay informed and provide expert advice on Washington state and federal employment laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HR regulations and policies.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration and operations.
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms (experience with Paylocity is advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of Washington state employment laws, payroll processes, and leave management.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of accountability.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused organization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
