Seeking a US Finance Officer to join our US Team. Ideal candidate will be eligible to work in a remote location within the US with occasional travel. Opportunity for growth for the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process, monitor, and manage AR, with a growing focus on broader financial responsibilities.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
  • Audit financial information to ensure all processes align with financial policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support tax filings, regulatory reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Adapt to ongoing system changes and integrations, ensuring smooth financial operations as the company grows.
  • Assist in implementing and improving financial processes to align with new acquisitions and business strategies.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure all financial policies and regulations are met.
  • Provide leadership and guidance as responsibilities increase.

Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) accounting.
  • Familiarity with process improvements and experience working in evolving environments, especially with acquisitions, is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Essential:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Accuracy and reliability in handling financial data and reporting.
    • Empathy and understanding of working with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with SAP (S/4 HANA) or other ERP systems is a plus, with the flexibility to learn new systems as they are integrated.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting.
    • Leadership skills, with the potential to take on greater responsibility over time.
    • Strong team player, able to collaborate with colleagues across functions.
    • Familiarity with production tools used in finance and accounting environments.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude toward working with global teams. Experience or enthusiasm for working with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds is essential.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule, with a preference for early hours to align with international team members.

Salary base range for this position is between $55K to $65K, dependent upon experience and physical location. This position is eligible for a variable compensation in addition to salary.
