Job description

At Grove, we believe the products you use every day can be a force for human and environmental good. We are looking for a talented CRM Manager to join our team and help tell this story to millions of existing and prospective customers. This whip smart marketer has worked on best-in-class CRM programs, shows passion for strategically planned and flawlessly executed marketing campaigns, places the customer at the center of data-driven decision-making, and is eager to grow in an ever-evolving environment.

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering with Marketing teammates plus cross-functional partners from Creative, Merchandising, Analytics, Digital Product, and more to transform Grove’s customer experience. While much of the work is rooted in the email channel and focuses on triggered campaigns, assignments also stretch across broadcast campaigns, push notifications, in-app messages, SMS, loyalty, and more. This role balances analytical acumen with creative thinking; thoughtful planning with speedy execution; and business outcomes with mission alignment. While this is an Individual Contributor role today, there is the potential to lead a team in the future.

Responsibilites
  • Own Grove’s triggered marketing program, including strategically revamping key series; routinely monitoring performance; and proactively identifying opportunities to improve relevance, personalization, and productivity
  • Partner with internal Product & Engineering teams plus Martech vendors to enhance existing triggers and launch net-new triggers that are responsive to customer behavior
  • Execute the technical setup, QA, deployment, and tracking of a high volume of marketing campaigns, working directly in the ESP
  • Orchestrate complex test planning and execution to prove and scale winners
  • Assist with broadcast campaign planning and execution as needed
  • Support loyalty marketing efforts
  • Contribute to frequent (daily, weekly, monthly) campaign and business analyses that generate actionable insights

  • About You
  • 4+ years in CRM, ideally with a digital-first retailer
  • Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise-grade ESPs (Braze preferred)
  • Experience using Liquid logic (or equivalent) to personalize communications
  • Basic HTML proficiency is a plus
  • Knowledge of email best practices, including subject lines, content, segmentation, personalization, deliverability, etc.
  • Understanding of complex A/B testing, measurement, and optimization against key metrics
  • Experience collaborating with a Creative team and briefing emails for them
  • A history of making data-driven decisions, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A proven track record of delivering measurable business impact

  • What's In It For You
  • This full-time, exempt position is remote in one of the 13 states where Grove has established payroll.
  • The budgeted base salary range is $93,500 - $120,000. This pay range is based upon the national average and may vary depending on geographical work location and experience level
  • Competitive benefits - medical, vision, dental
  • Equity - shared success is core to our mission
