As a Junior Data Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and support business needs.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to support data processing.
  • Learn how to implement and optimize data models, data storage, and data integration solutions.
  • Participate in data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities.
  • Help monitor data pipelines and assist in troubleshooting to ensure smooth data flow.

Requirements

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in programming languages for data analytics (e.g. Python).
  • Good knowledge of SQL and data modeling  (e.g. Kimball/Inmon modeling, Data Vault).
  • Exposure to ETL processes for data warehousing (any academic or internship experience is welcome).
  • Strong grasp in Power BI or other visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (e.g. SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS etc.).
  • Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
