Who are you?

 

Personify Health is hiring an experienced Data Support Engineer who will monitor, troubleshoot, maintain and develop data pipelines for core data storage in our Analytics Engineering team. This person will support the success of the analytics engineering team by monitoring data pipelines and reporting systems and relevant initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring there is no breakage in any of the automated pipelines and make sure to escalate the issues and communicate any SLA breaches data/reporting environments. This role should be able to triage the tickets and assign it to the relevant teams

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Works collaboratively with a team of analytics engineers and data engineers, ensuring smooth monitoring and bug fixes to maintain and support current production applications.
  • Manage the backlog of issues coming from analysts and users
  • Participate in enhancing the monitoring and auditing of data pipelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Personify Health’s monitoring services.
  • Stays informed of new data pipeline deployments and process changes to monitor them effectively.
  • Applies strong analytical and technical skills to understand, define, research, and resolve everyday data storage and performance issues.
  • Investigating and resolving production issues
  • Troubleshooting technical issues reported by customers
  • Developing scripts for verifying the correct operation of integrations
  • Follow and maintain documentation and process guidance for all projects.

Qualifications:

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

 

In order to represent the best of what we have to offer you come to us with a multitude of positive attributes including:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Data Support Engineer or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience working with SQL databases including full DDL/DML capability (Snowflake preferred)
  • Knowledge of agile software development suite of tools (Jira Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with cloud-based data storage applications is strongly desired (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with distributed source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
  • Previous experience working with big data analytic tools is strongly desired (Python, Spark, Databricks, etc.)

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
