Acquisition Operations Lead

As an Acquisition Operations Lead, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients’ missions. We’re looking for someone like you to lead a team of experienced professionals and be a liaison to the government. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country’s defense acquisition and contracts process. As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional, you’ll oversee full RFP packages, including identifying requirements.
On our team, you’ll oversee the development of procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You will also drive operational cadence for the acquisition management team through executive reporting on active acquisitions. As the Team Lead, you will lead analysis of status to identify and address process issues related to the acquisition processes. You’ll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project’s success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you’ll lead meaningful acquisition support.

You Have:
15+ years of experience with acquisition management
Experience leading the proactive management of acquisition actions, specifically elevating issues related to upcoming task order awards against key programmatic priorities
Experience ensuring client acquisition process and standards are applied to all items
Experience collaborating and assisting Technical SMEs with acquisition package review, prior to client approval
Experience coordinating change to acquisition packages based on stakeholder feedback
Experience with diverse IT projects both large and small and identifying and mitigating risks to the program
Knowledge of full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices
Ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance
Public Trust
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or Business

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
