Job description

Nigel Frank is working with a client seeking a remote Staff Accountant proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join the finance team of a growing Consulting firm based out of Nevada. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful financial reporting to support the firms business operations. This company offers a great start-up environment with the role reporting directly to the finance manager and this person will ensure the smooth running of the day to day finance needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with a medium to large ERP system experience specifically Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge in US tax code
  • Experience in month in and quarterly closing processes
  • Experience in ensuring company compliance with all financial records
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities
  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
  • Summarise current financial status by collecting information, auditing documents, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statement and other reports.
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
