Job Summary: 

The Technical Product Manager will lead, manage and execute the product definition, implementation and launch of Globalstar’s satellite IoT product portfolio. This individual will be responsible for delivering best-in-class end-to-end customer experience for Globalstar’s next generation IoT product portfolio to our customers and partners.  Additionally, the TPM will support the marketing team to analyze the IoT market, develop insights regarding customer needs, vertical use cases, market opportunities, and go-to-market product strategies and plans for market share expansion and revenue growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Passion for understanding customer problems through deep engagement that results in strong insights, detailed requirements, and clearly laid out value propositions.
• Translate the product definition and business requirements into technical requirements for implementation and validation.
• Work with Director of Product Management to determine and develop detailed product requirements.
• Partner closely with cross functional teams, including product development, program management, user experience, marketing, sales and services teams to implement and launch new IoT products and services.
• Provide leadership and guidance, acting as a subject matter expert, and advocating for product vision while making critical decision to resolve conflicts that may arise
• Assist marketing to develop sales and marketing specific materials.
• Support sales to create training material for distribution partners, customers, and Globalstar team members on product portfolio, applications, solutions and use cases.
• Develop use cases for existing and new IoT product market requirements with emphasis on customer experience, UX and API development and delivery, and back-office integration
• Develop and maintain a library of knowledge of satellite IoT vertical solutions, applications and use cases to ensure Globalstar and its IoT products are innovative, competitive, industry leading, and meet the needs of its customers.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, conduct market research and competitive analysis, analyzing customer data to make informed data driven IoT product roadmap decisions

Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, Engineering degree preferred, MBA a plus.
• Minimum of 8+ years of Technical Product Management specific to wireless and/or satellite technologies managing software and connectivity devices, IoT experience required.
• Experienced in product development, product launches, and solution API integration with cloud service platforms.
• Experience working with different IoT wireless hardware, communications and software technologies.
• Experience with Product Led Growth and creating 0 —> 1 products
• Software programming experience with Python, C, Swift, and other programming languages a plus.
• Experience managing and leading Agile product development methodologies for firmware, software and hardware products
• Comprehensive understanding of APIs and integration with SaaS/PaaS B2B products.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel as required, up to 20% travel required
