Remote Java Database Developer - Level III

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Java Developer - Level III to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on the development and enhancement of database-driven Java applications, where you will ensure optimal performance and functionality while working closely with various teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Java applications utilizing database technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to engineer scalable solutions that meet business requirements.
• Guarantee high performance and responsiveness of applications through effective coding and testing practices.
• Engage comprehensively in the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.
  
  

Required Skills

• 8+ years of extensive experience in Java development, demonstrating proficiency in J2EE, Servlets, and associated technologies.
• Proven track record in building and consuming SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Strong capability in implementing applications using various J2EE Application Servers and managing Java security protocols.
• Expertise in web development frameworks, particularly Servlets, Spring, and Spring Batch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, including GitLab, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, JSF, and PrimeFaces 7.0.
• Experience in designing and developing data validation rules using XSD and Schematron.
• Hands-on experience with at least one application server configuration (e.g., WildFly, Tomcat, or WebLogic).
• In-depth knowledge of MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including advanced querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Experience conducting ad hoc data analysis and reporting.
