Job Overview

Join a leading and rapidly expanding building materials distribution organization based in Alpharetta, GA. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations including accounts receivable, customer statements, and payment processes.
  • Manage accounts payable tasks, including ACH transactions and check processing.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate accruals.
  • Analyze fluctuations in income statements to identify key drivers.
  • Supervise deferred revenue for DDP and consignment shipments.
  • Input payroll data into Oracle NetSuite and conduct reconciliations of financial documents.
  • Compile comprehensive monthly and annual financial reports.
  • Develop sales worksheets detailing revenue and cost of goods sold at the line level.
  • Create and manage internal audits and controls for our ERP system.
  • Mentor and supervise a small accounting support team, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Manage tax payments across various jurisdictions and partner with the VP of Sales on budgeting.
  • Collaborate with international teams for monthly financial reporting.
  • Facilitate the close-out of the upcoming audit and assist in the potential IPO process for the parent company.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and proactive recommendations to management.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and ADP systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Effective mentorship and team leadership skills.
  • Experience in managing audits and collaborating with overseas teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification preferred, but not mandatory.
  • A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including managerial roles.
