The role in a nutshell:

This position is a key role within the company which will hold responsibility for excellence in

Payroll Implementation. Excellence in customer service, whilst ensuring on time and on

budget projects requires the ability to communicate at all levels and detailed planning.

How you will make a difference: 

  • Implementation of UK payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timely take-ons
  • Liaising as required with SGWI Global Implementation Teams to ensure on time on
  • budget transitions
  • Managing the transition process from start to finish for clients
  • Liaising with software partners to support quality and accuracy of projects where
  • required
  • In partnership with the SGWI Global Implementation Team will Manage the clients
  • through the process, assisting with the following:
    • Discovery process
    • Data Gathering
    • Parallel runs
    • Go live
  • Configuration of payroll system on a client by client basis.
  • Develop processes and procedures for the business in accordance with customer
  • and business requirements supporting continuous improvement
  • High quality handover of a fully implemented payroll to the Operations team
  • Ability to exceed or achieve growth targets
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities where agreed.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Experience in UK Payroll or personnel services related environment
  • Exposure to and understanding of the operation of HR / Payroll systems (e,g, SAP,
  • Peoplesoft)
  • Able to demonstrate a mature understanding and flexible approach to the sales
  • and service delivery environments of the commercial operation on the business
  • Understanding of ISO / SOX compliance
  • The successful candidate must have a current driving license and be prepared to
  • travel
  • Ability to work effectively on a solo basis and also within a team environment
  • Strong client management/ relationship building skills
  • Organised and methodical approach to work
  • Experienced at managing multiple projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels
  • Aptitude for analytical thinking in creating solutions
  • Language skills an added advantage
