Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings.
• Ensure strict adherence to established style guides while producing verbatim transcripts.
• Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clarity and precision in every document.
• Collaborate with our supportive in-office team for guidance and assistance as needed.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening skills and the ability to comprehend and accurately transcribe complex audio content.
• Strong literacy skills, including proficiency in spelling and grammar.
• Effective collaboration abilities, especially in a remote work setting.
• Typing proficiency characterized by speed and accuracy.
• Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
• Capacity to handle sensitive audio/text content (note: content may be offensive).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Court reporting students are also encouraged to apply.
