Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold accuracy while producing verbatim transcripts.
  • Adhere strictly to client-specific style guides and deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team to ensure quality and consistency in all work.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, legal transcription, or scoping.
  • Exceptional listening abilities and outstanding literacy skills, including spelling and grammar.
  • Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and ability to process sensitive audio/text content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Must pass a background check.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in transcribing depositions and hearings is essential.
  • Court reporting students are welcome to apply.
