Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal representation in various civil defense litigation matters, encompassing insurance claims, personal injury, and commercial disputes.
  • Manage a diverse caseload from initiation through trial, ensuring a thorough approach to case management.
  • Draft essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to formulate effective litigation strategies.
  • Participate actively in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent legal standards and regulations.
  • Address the needs and priorities of attorneys, clients, and the firm proactively.

Required Skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing (California or Nevada).
  • At least 1 year of litigation experience, particularly in insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial law.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • A commitment to a billable hours requirement of 1850.

Qualifications
