Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure an efficient balance of inventory levels, maximizing shelf availability while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to meet company objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, store operations, and distribution entities.
  • Analyze data and reports to monitor cost efficiency, product quality, and inventory metrics.
  • Address store-level inventory challenges and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Stay abreast of market dynamics and promotional influences.
  • Conduct store visits to gather insights and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Oversee accounts payable processes and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
  • Utilize remote access to manage procurement systems as needed.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or vendor management within the food sector or retail industry.
  • Additional experience in marketing, logistics, or store operations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in grocery procurement, inventory oversight, and financial management.
