Job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a committed part-time bookkeeper or bookkeeping service to join our team, contributing 8-12 hours weekly, ideally distributed over 2-3 days. You will collaborate with our current part-time bookkeeper during their availability from 1 PM to 5 PM, Tuesday through Thursday.

As we undertake the transition from our legacy ERP system to a new ERP system within the upcoming two months, we will offer comprehensive training on both systems to ensure you are well-prepared for your responsibilities. Please note that we do not utilize QuickBooks, but we are dedicated to equipping you with the necessary tools for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements and execute monthly closings.
  • Support with insurance renewals and oversee new employee documentation.
  • Manage invoicing for factory-direct shipments along with various administrative tasks.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and effective communication capabilities.
