Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team on a remote basis. This position is ideal for candidates who possess strong project management capabilities and a keen eye for financial reconciliation within the managed care landscape. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for analyzing pricing structures, tracking financial trends, and aiding in the Charge Master process development in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the management of various financial projects, collaborating closely with your supervisor to ensure successful results.
  • Execute financial reconciliation for both the ‘Pre-Bundle’ and ‘Post-Bundle’ phases.
  • Create and uphold precise pricing models, particularly focusing on service bundles.
  • Support the establishment and oversight of the Charge Description Master (CDM) and Charge Master processes.
  • Conduct monthly financial trend analysis, identifying and mitigating potential concerns.
  • Evaluate and interpret managed care contracts, with a strong emphasis on CPT codes and relevant healthcare terminology.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet project objectives and advance organizational goals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations to maintain financial integrity.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of three years of experience in managing care contracts or a closely related field.
  • In-depth understanding of managed care contract terminology, including CPT codes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
  • Familiarity with EPIC systems and financial reconciliation methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related discipline.
  • Project management experience is desirable but not mandatory.
