COMPANY

simpleshow started in 2008 as a media agency and has established itself as the international market leader for the professional production of explainer videos. Using a scientifically-proven storytelling methodology, the explanation experts of simpleshow help to make the increasingly complicated world more understandable for everyone.

We are looking for Spanish-speaking freelance illustrators who have a passion for drawing, can learn simpleshow illustration styles, and want to help us with projects both big and small!

REQUIREMENTS

Good English conversation and writing is required. German is a plus.
Traditional Art/Drawing background.
Experience working on client projects.
Highly perceptive and talented in drawing with a keen eye for character anatomy.
Excellent eye for color, proportion, and perspective.
Good communication, self-disciplined, adherence to delivery deadlines, and quality-conscious.
Must be proficient with digital drawing tablets.
Expert command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Creativity and consistency within a pre-defined style.
Adaptable to different art styles--illustrations must meet both aesthetic and technical criteria.
Ability to research and accurately represent content according to specifications.
Receptive to criticism and can apply feedback accordingly.

Responsibilities

Make illustrations according to client and company specifications.
Working closely with the creative team (project managers, concept writers, in-house illustrators, and administrators) to create images to be used in production.
Especially promising illustrators with a knack for basic animation (Photoshop and/or AfterEffects) may also help us create projects in our simpleshow video maker.
Style development: brainstorming, preparing sketches, and executing the finished illustrations' graphic implementation for 2D animation.
