Junior Commercial Planner (Athens or Heraklion, Crete)

We are looking for a Junior Commercial Planner for the Commercial Planning Department, based in our offices in Athens or Heraklion, Crete!

Role Overview

Drive Demand & Supply Omni Planning Process:

Work closely with buying team, following commercial strategy and seasonal priorities as set, across the retail network and ecom along with Supply chain team and Area Retail managers.

Stock Management:

Aling with Head of department, efficient stock management strategies to reach inventory targets, while maximizing net sales and profit.

Business Analysis:

Support sales team by compiling & analysis sales & market data to help organization comprehend trends and sales dynamics.

Support Demand & Supply Omni Planning Process

• Actively participate in Demand Planning process, ensuring compliance with yearly financial plan, stock inventory targets and retail expansion plan
• Run analyses of concepts/assortment growth opportunities and recommend actions in collaboration with Buying team;
• Run simulation to provide rolling forecast per fascia/area demand requirements and top-down overview of inventory levels, suggesting actions upon deviations to proactively identify needed actions (short, mid, and long term) on buying and stock management
• Ensure proper communication flow with supply chain counterparts to guarantee smooth roll out of the plan

Stock Management

• Tracking the company’s current inventory, anticipating factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal slowdowns or upcoming promotions
• Maintaining enough inventory to meet demands without overstocking
• Develop stock liquidation actions and ensure that tail inventory is tightly controlled to maximize full price selling and profitability
• Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
• Closely monitor stock out cases to avoid losing net sales in peak periods
• Coordinate inventory projects with Supply Planning team.

Business Analysis

• Collect data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand
• Analyze sales, stock, and other data statistics
• Review historical sales trends
• Provide reports and presentation for management review

Requirements

• 1-2 years of proven work experience in a Commercial role
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Mathematics
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• ERP knowledge will be considered a plus
