Job Description:

About Altera:

Altera empowers customers to unlock the full potential of data through cutting-edge programmable platforms. In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This will give Altera the autonomy and flexibility it needs to fully accelerate its growth and more effectively compete in the FPGA industry, which serves a broad array of markets, including the data center, communications, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors.

This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

Additionally, you will provide talent advisory and process expertise to hiring managers, and manage end-to-end recruitment for internal, external, and executive requisitions as appropriate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with talent acquisition partners, business hiring partners, hiring managers, and account leadership teams to understand the talent needs and expectations and communicate the talent acquisition strategy and progress regularly.

  • Create and implement effective sourcing strategies and techniques to attract and engage qualified and diverse candidates for current and anticipated positions.

  • Screen and assess candidates using behavioral-based interviewing and assessment tools, and present hiring managers with a strong talent slate that meets Altera's talent standards and needs.

  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards and Altera policies and procedures related to talent acquisition.

  • Work with coordinator on interview scheduling, offer process, background check and candidate readiness for first day

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing methodologies, tools, and channels, and skills to leverage various talent sources to build diverse talent pipelines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and skills to build and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders across levels and functions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and skills to use data and metrics to measure performance and drive decision-making.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This position is as an Intel-Altera Contract Employee ICE for Six months.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in a global and complex environment.
