Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney (First-Party Property Homeowner’s Insurance Claims)

Location: Miramar, Florida (Remote option available after 6-12 weeks of on-site training)

Salary: \(85,000 - \)135,000 + 2-5% Commission of Settlement Fees (Paid Quarterly)

Overview

We are actively seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to enhance our legal team, specializing in first-party property homeowner’s insurance claims. This position provides the unique opportunity to advocate for clients in matters related to property damage from events such as hailstorms, wildfires, and floods. Following an initial training period, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of first-party property insurance claims with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Represent clients in court appearances as necessary to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated group of legal professionals to ensure the best possible representation for our clients.
  • Remain informed about legal changes and trends within the property insurance sector.

  • Experience in managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 recent years of experience in first-party property homeowner’s insurance claims, ideally on either the plaintiff or defense side.
  • Additional licenses in CA, CO, AR, or NV are beneficial and could substantially increase your base salary by up to $75,000.
  • Prior trial experience is highly regarded.
  • Must be admitted and in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a US ABA-accredited law school.
