Accounting Advisory Lead/Supervisor - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

A premier public accounting firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as a Client Accounting and Advisory Manager. This position will be directly responsible for providing excellent accounting, advisory, and customer service to the firm’s client base. The firm is open to remote candidates and is offering a highly competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the Month-End Close process for clients
  • Preparation of year-end audit schedules
  • Transaction processing
  • Preparation and monitoring of development draw packages
  • Review of audited financial statements
  • Manage client relationship for multiple clients that we handle the accounting tasks for, and occasionally meet (over the phone, in person and via Zoom) to answer questions and present financial statements as needed

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Prior relevant bookkeeping experience is preferred but we are willing to consider a sufficient education equivalent and proven in-depth knowledge of accounting;
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulation;
  • Ability to establish and maintain databases, keep complex records and files, and analyze financial data;
  • Analytical, quantitative, and problem skills;
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
