Job Title: Information Systems Support Specialist

Job Type: Permanent Role- Package (Negotiable)

Business Unit: Information Systems Individual Contributor

Location: Claremont, Cape Town, South Africa

Work Type: Remote/Hybrid

Role Reports to: Team Leader : Trading Operations

Working Hours: Working hours: 16h00 - 24h00 Able to work weekends when required Able to rotate into other shifts when required, e.g., 04h00 - 12h00

About The Role

Become a key member of our client’s Information Systems support team , they are on the

lookout for a dedicated IS Support Specialist ready to perform critical operations,

configurations, and maintenance on their production systems. Your role will involve tracking,

managing, and reporting on IT problems, ensuring swift resolutions and maintaining seamless

operations. If you are a team player who is passionate about technology, we would love to

Key Role Responsibilities

Ensure that automated and data distribution processes are executed in a timely manner and

adhere to service level agreements for both internal and external business clients.

Document all automated and data distribution processes, service level agreements and

escalation procedures including incidents, errors, and workarounds in the register.

Perform all relevant predefined support and maintenance requests.

Escalate all relevant incidents and errors to applicable second- and third-line support.

Conduct trend analysis on incidents and problems to identify problem areas.

Information Systems Support Specialist

Proactively implement appropriate measures, tools, and systems to monitor availability of

service components and data.

Work closely with teams to ensure a continuous, stable, and efficient environment.

Efficient and accurate execution of core job aspects.

Person Specifications

Education: Relevant Degree or Diploma Information Systems/ IT related/computer Science

Solid commercial application monitoring and support experience; ideally in the Investment Management and Financial Services

industry, or similar environment.
