Strength and Conditioning Coach
Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, promoting, coordinating, executing, evaluating, and supervising a comprehensive and total fitness program for active-duty Military personnel focused on improving resiliency through physical and mental performance. Design group training programs that improve physical fitness and reduce injury. Perform as a subject matter expert (SME) on human physiology and physical strength and conditioning to advise the Human Performance Director, Human Performance Program staff, leadership, and Military members on human performance optimization in a tactical combat environment.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with working in the collegiate, professional, or Military sector of human and sport performance
Experience with measures and metrics to drive ROI at the individual and small group level
Knowledge of human performance technology and its utilization in program design, including wearable devices, biomechanical assessments, and athlete databases
Ability to work in a Military environment
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
AED and CPR Certification
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to recommend the selection of high-quality fitness equipment in support of program objectives
Ability to assist with administrative duties, including facilities, supplies, and equipment required to operate the Human Performance Center, perform data collection, and provide information and guidance to Commanding Officers and the HP program director on the fitness program
Ability to demonstrate all prescribed exercises and techniques
Bachelor's degree in Exercise, Sports Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a Health Science-related field preferred; Master’s Degree in Exercise, Sports Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a Health Science-related field field a plus
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
