Who You Are

Ontic is looking for a Director of Sales Enablement to develop and execute strategies that empower our enterprise sales teams to achieve their goals and drive business growth. This role will involve creating, delivering and implementing comprehensive sales enablement programs centered in leading sales methodologies, coaching sellers strategically through complex enterprise level sales scenarios, monitoring sales calls for enablement needs, and managing sales resources and tools.

The Director of Sales Enablement will foster alignment between sales leadership and other departments to establish a proactive approach to enabling sellers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales enablement, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic selling mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a sales enablement strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives and sales goals
  • Training & Development: Develop, deliver, facilitate and implement training programs that equip sales teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to succeed. This includes onboarding, ongoing training, and development of enterprise sales professionals
  • Strategic Program Creation: Oversee the strategic ideation and distribution of sales programs and related materials, such as playbooks, presentations, and thought leadership assets, ensuring they are relevant, current, effective and strategically shared throughout the sales cycle
  • Tool & Technology Management: Identify, implement, and manage sales enablement tools and technologies that enhance sales productivity and effectiveness. Ensure proper training and adoption across the sales team
  • Performance Measurement & Coaching: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives. Use data, call monitoring efforts and feedback to make informed improvements and provide strategic coaching to enterprise sales professionals
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing, product, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of sales enablement efforts with overall company strategies and deliver proactive and timely enablement to sales teams
  • Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in sales enablement. Introduce innovative approaches to enhance sales team performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP)) preferred.
  • 7 plus years of experience in sales enablement, sales management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success. Experience leading teams and coaching sales professionals is required
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in sales enablement tools and technologies (e.g., CRM systems, learning management systems)
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decisions and improvements
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • A proactive and results-oriented leader with a passion for empowering sales teams and driving business growth
