Job Description

The incumbent, through his expertise, will act as a specialist with his internal contacts and clients. The person will contribute to informed decision-making by managers. They will act as a consultant and propose solutions oriented towards business issues and will be responsible for their implementation. The incumbent will be responsible for marketing the various routes offered by Air Transat through B2C and B2B campaigns in the Canadian and international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance of the various routes under his/her responsibility in close collaboration with the Revenue Management and Pricing teams as well as Commercial teams on the Canadian and international markets;
  • Contribute to the definition of promotional offers with the RM and Pricing teams;
  • Implement marketing plans for the launch of new destinations or routes and/or for existing routes;
  • Brief and coordinate digital, print, radio and video advertising projects.
  • Orchestrate the marketing of various multi-channel campaigns through the various stages of production, approval and marketing;
  • Work closely with several internal groups and external partners (sales, revenue management, network, product, legal, studio, ad agencies, ecommerce, media, marcom, international teams, GSAs, etc.);
  • Perform performance analysis of marketing campaigns and prepare presentation documents;
  • Manage and monitor budgets based on performance objectives;
  • Provide the necessary support to the Marketing Director, Brand and commercial activities in order to carry out several promotional, advertising and communication projects;
  • Plan and implement certain partnerships while ensuring maximum visibility.

Qualifications
  • University diploma in marketing, communications or related relevant field;
  • At least three (3) years of relevant marketing experience;
  • Relevant project  and promotion management experience;
  • Bilingualism is essential (written and spoken) ;
  • Writing skills (English and French);
  • Analysis capabilities;
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;
  • Dynamism, resourcefulness, sense of organization, and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of social media and on the lookout for trending topics;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Knowledge of the airline and/or travel industry (an asset).
