⭐️ this is a part-time 100% work from home, Independent Contractor role for someone based in the Cebu metro market ⭐️

Job role: As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll help shape our content strategy, build brand awareness, foster engagement and generate leads. You will bring our brand's voice to life!

As the first hire in this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our marketing strategy from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder to build and execute a marketing strategy that will drive brand awareness as we scale. 

While this role will start off part-time, there is a ton of opportunity to put your stamp on this role and take on more projects as our business grows!

In this role you will:

  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, websites, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc!), email campaigns, etc.
  • SEO, Organic & Paid Growth: Own our SEO strategy, conducting keyword research, implementing on-page SEO, and identifying opportunities to improve traffic through organic and paid search.
  • Build Processes: Develop and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistency and timely execution across all channels.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor content performance using analytics tools and iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Jump in on special projects and help with research and data when needed.

About you:

  • Legally eligible to work in the Philippines.
  • Strong fluency in verbal and written English.
  • As an independent contractor, you must have your own laptop / computer and secure, high speed internet access.
  • 4+ years in a Digital Marketing, Social Media, Copywriting role (or similar).
  • Experience with various social platforms automation and content management (CMS) tools.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization.
  • Bonus points: experience with recruiting and/or employer branding 
  • Bonus points: experience working with start-up businesses.

  • Role type: Independent Contractor
  • Location: Work from home - 100% fully remote (from the Philippines)
  • Working schedule: Part-time 20-30 hours per month, NYC Eastern Standard Time (EST); note: this role has the potential to take on more hours in the future!
  • Hourly rate: PHP ₱250-400 per hour depending on experience
