The Role

The Manager, Business Insights will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our BI strategies and tools. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively utilized to support business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy that aligns with company goals
  • Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights on user behavior, health outcomes, and program effectiveness
  • Lead a small team of BI analysts
  • Oversee the collection, integration, and analysis of data from various sources
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Coordinate effectively with internal and external partners to facilitate data-driven discussions and decisions
  • Communicate complex data insights and trends to non-technical stakeholders
  • Continuously assess and improve BI processes and methodologies
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on BI activities and outcomes
  • Evaluate and select appropriate BI tools and technologies
  • Foster a data-driven culture across the organization

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and big data technologies
  • Experience managing complex BI projects, including end-to-end delivery from data collection to reporting and analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable BI initiatives
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a track record of initiative and ownership of projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Deep experience working with large datasets, data reporting and analysis, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker); at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Experience working with digital health or healthcare data
