English language expert ASR (native speaker)

Summa Linguae Technologies is looking for native speakers of English (UK accent) interested in working on the below project.

Language: English

Rate: per hour

Role and Responsibilities

• Preparation of language resources (text localization, translation, annotation, corpora, audio data collection, etc.) for AI/LLM based models development
• Review of linguistic work
• Post-edition of machine-translated, LLM generated content
• Development of new linguistic resources based on actual needs
• Close collaboration with AI experts, engineers and 3rd party companies on language-specific developments
• On-device testing of language resources
• Reported issues verification
• Other linguistic tasks depending on actual needs

Skills and Qualifications

• British English native speaker
• University degree in Language Studies, Translation, Interpreting or related fields
• Exceptional knowledge of linguistics including phonetics and phonology.
• Previous experience in translation, phonetics transcription, content creation, proof-reading, computational linguistics, etc.
• Deep knowledge of English speaking countries
• Strong linguistic and creative writing skills
• Very good command of English (min. C1 level)
• Practical knowledge of Windows environment
• Quality-focus and attention to details
• Great communication skills, positive attitude and team-work approach
• Highly motivated to learn and develop

Nice to have

• Command of additional foreign language (es-ES, it-IT, fr-FR, de-DE) proven by a certificate (min. C1 level) or university degree
• Previous experience in AI Projects
• General knowledge of computational linguistics and programming skills
