Description

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer Intern to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside Regulatory Specialists on various projects within the Global Environmental Regulatory team.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do

  • Conduct general environmental technical work within a corporate environmental framework.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Specialists, interacting periodically with Governmental Regulators and Remote Plant Personnel.
  • Utilize Corteva Emission Models to perform chemical engineering calculations for environmental permitting.
  • Assist in maintaining environmental databases by coordinating with corporate and business contacts.
  • Update environmental regulatory procedures through occasional interactions with business personnel.

Qualifications

Qualifications - What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates must be enrolled in classes the semester following their internship with Corteva.
  • Must be able to relocate to Indianapolis, IN for the duration of the internship.
  • Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) for 10-12 weeks during the timeframe of internship (typically May to August).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Limited potential for domestic travel, varying with assignments.
