We are looking for a Contracts and Negotiation Manager!

What you’ll do:

  • Draft, review, edit, and negotiate commercial customer agreements, such as (but not limited to): sales contracts, amendments, reseller agreements, pricing agreements, contract renewals, and customer requests for proposal, etc.
  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend innovative solutions and best practices; assess and lead initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools
  • Train and advise commercial teams on agreement structure, templates, risks, and alternatives
  • Ensure compliance to the contracts approval policy and other company policies; solicit buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • Provide training, mentorship, and 2nd-tier support to other contracts team members

Who you are:   

  • Possess a law degree
  • Have 2+ years’ experience with commercial contract review, redlining, and drafting, including local, regional, and global agreements
  • Have 2+ years’ experience with contract negotiations and external client engagement
  • Demonstrable experience (i) using sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative contract solutions, and (ii) prioritizing competing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess advanced writing and communication skills with a meticulous attention to detail; English language fluency

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and/or life sciences industry
  • Experience using Salesforce.com (SFDC) and/or an SFDC-based contract lifecycle management system
  • Additional language proficiency in German
