As a Sales Account Manager - German Government at Merantix Momentum, your primary responsibility will be to drive the adoption and sales of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions within the Government of Germany and other public entities. You will leverage our expertise in AI research, development, and implementation to offer cutting-edge solutions that optimize public processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive client business growth.

Your role
  • Identify and Prospect: Conduct market research and identify potential public sector clients who can benefit from AI solutions provided by Merantix Momentum. Generate leads, cold calls, and initiate contact with decision-makers in these organizations to introduce Merantix Momentum's AI offerings;

  • Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients to deeply understand their technological challenges, pain points, and strategic objectives. Provide consultative guidance on how Merantix Momentum's AI technologies can address these challenges and help them achieve their goals effectively;

  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and understand their long-term strategic goals and establish yourself as a trusted advisor by demonstrating deep governmental knowledge, understanding of AI technologies, and the ability to solve their specific challenges;

  • Collaborative Solutions: Collaborate closely with the Merantix Momentum technical team, including AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers, to develop customized AI solutions that meet the unique needs of German public clients;

  • Proposal Development: Prepare persuasive sales proposals and quotations that address client requirements and highlight the value of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions;

  • Post-Sales Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions. Act as a liaison between clients and the technical team to address implementation issues, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or computer. Advanced degrees or certifications related to AI or governmental/public services Γ‚ are a plus;

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the Governmental and Public Sector, with a strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in this sector, such as machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and process automation;

  • In-depth knowledge of the German Government Ecosystem, including improvement of public services, enhanced administrative efficiency, citizen engagement, education, and environmental Management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (in English and German) to effectively articulate the value proposition of Merantix Momentum's AI solutions to diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
