Your new role

At Digital Science, we are dedicated to driving innovation in scientific research. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The Channel Sales Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing our sales strategy through channel partnerships within corporate, government, and academic segments. The successful candidate will identify, develop, and expand relationships with strategic partners to promote and sell Digital Science's suite of products and solutions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Channel Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy tailored to the corporate, government, and academic sectors.
  • Partner Acquisition and Management: Identify potential channel partners across various segments and geographic locations. Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in partner organizations.
  • Sales Execution: Collaborate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals. Analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
  • Training and Support: Provide partners with ongoing product training and support to ensure they are equipped to meet their sales targets.
  • Marketing Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to develop channel marketing strategies and tools. Ensure that all channel partners are aligned with Digital Science's marketing messages and sales strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track partner performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Regularly review performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with new and existing channel partners to secure profitable and sustainable deals.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel sales, ideally within the technology or scientific research industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and business objectives through channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of the corporate/pharma, government, and academic segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
