RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Scope of tasks

As the Product Marketing Manager at XTM, you will drive the go-to-market strategy through crafting compelling messaging and storytelling, executing campaigns with a customer-first mentality, and positioning us as industry leaders with targeted buyers and influencers. You’ll utilise the talent within cross-functional teams and synthesise ideas that arise in an uncomplicated and impactful way. 


We are a Private Equity backed Organisation with the opportunity of M&As, so the ideal candidate needs to be someone with a thirst to learn and develop, ready to grow and influence the impact of Product Marketing across a portfolio product set by expanding Customer Marketing and Analyst Relations.


Strategy and Expertise


  • Go to market – Define use cases, product messaging and positioning, value propositions, and customer profiles to showcase the value of the XTM portfolio.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Translation Management software with an in-depth understanding of the market and products, including overall value proposition, features, functionality and the verticals and use cases in which they are relevant.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new SaaS products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.


Digital

 

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to generate awareness, drive demand, and acquire new customers.


Demand Generation & Sales

 

  • Develop tools and training to support the full sales cycle, including product demos, sales training, reference architectures, and competitive intelligence to the field.
  • Deliver key messages that enable our marketing team to execute high-quality digital and event-based campaigns and programs. Work closely with our demand generation teams to drive pipeline for the sales organisation

Communication and Storytelling

 

  • Drive the core message and strategy for customer-facing materials
  • Lead the creation of marketing collateral, including product sheets, case studies, whitepapers, and other materials to support the sales process using customer-friendly and accessible language
  • Thought leadership – Represent XTM at speaking engagements, customer conferences, and in presentations to partner sales teams to build awareness for XTM.
  • Craft compelling product messaging and positioning that addresses the needs and solutions of our customers.
  • Create differentiated value propositions and communicate the value of our product by addressing the needs of our customers without using jargon
  • Leverage various channels such as social media, email marketing, and content marketing to reach target audiences.


Cross functional Relationships


  • Engage with all levels of the Organisation to understand pain points and opportunities (including C-suite).
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Partner closely with product management to ensure we are delivering on end to end scenarios that meet customer needs and to execute world-class product and feature launches.
  • Provide sales teams with the tools and resources they need to effectively communicate the value proposition and features of our SaaS products.
  • Develop and deliver product training and host thought leadership sessions for internal teams and external partners.



2. Requirements

 

  • 5+ years of product marketing, solutions marketing or product management experience at an enterprise-focused software or SaaS company, preferably at a growth stage.
  • Partner Marketing experience is desired (but not essential)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills; as well as strong messaging skills.
  • Proven track record of marketing to highly technical audiences.
  • Experience in taking a product from conceptualization through to launch in collaboration with other departments
  • Proven ability to think strategically, prioritise, problem solve and execute independently.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • People Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, including sending emails. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Some travel as required, including 1/x month travel into London for team meetings (Where possible, the Organisation aims to give employees 5 working days’ notice to arrange travel and prepare arrangements for any dependents or private commitments they may have)
