Job Summary

This position involves transitioning from rapid development to a structured environment following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The lead engineer will be responsible for ensuring the health of the software, creating documentation, and developing test cases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Move away from rapid development into a structured environment with SDLC.
  • Focus on the health of the software, ensuring it meets high standards.
  • Develop documentation and test cases while writing tickets.
  • Adhere to SDLC processes.


Job Requirements

  • Great English proficiency (B2+ Written and spoken)
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Impeccable punctuality (schedules are flexible but being on time for meetings is crucial).
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively with team members and business partners at a lead engineer level.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing software using many of the following:
  • Python (Django): expertise with Django auth, Django admin console, Django command management interface, and Django command language.
  • Vue, React, or any front-end JavaScript framework.
  • SQL (Postgres).
  • AWS (S3, Fargate, ElastiCache, RDS, Athena).
  • Step Functions, Elasticsearch.
  • Experience building enterprise software with complex business rules and data models.
  • Experience designing and developing microservices or other distributed systems.
  • Experience with scaling to work with large data sets.
  • Proficiency in Agile software development methodology, processes, and practices.


Nice to have

  • Experience with Java.
  • Working knowledge of Flutter.
  • Familiarity with Containers Terraform, Docker.
  • Previous experience with portals.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
