BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Project Manager – 100% Remote. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do

As a Project Manager, you will oversee the conversion of DDMS interface exchange files and the re-writing of debt management processes and procedures into the SFIS format. You will provide timelines and status updates to management while working closely with the project team to ensure deadlines are met. You will ensure SFIS compliance requirements are implemented effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project from “cradle to grave.”
  
• Provide timelines and status updates to management.
  
• Work closely with the project team to provide assistance with keeping deadlines.
  
• Ensure project lifecycle processes are followed and maintained.
  
• Utilize your mainframe experience to support project requirements.
  
• Apply your experience in modernization of a system, preferably a financial system.
  
• Leverage Endevor experience to manage and streamline project tasks.
  
• Oversee the conversion of DDMS interface exchange files and re-write systematic and manual debt management processes into the SFIS format.
  
• Ensure effective implementation of SFIS compliance requirements.
  

• Must have at least five (5) years of project management experience.
  
• Some level of mainframe experience required.
  
• Experience in modernization of a system, preferably a financial system.
  
• Experience working with DFAS or Military Departments on legacy system environments is highly desirable.
  
• Endevor experience preferred.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
