Job Summary:
The focus of the Business Development Director I (BDD I) is to recruit and develop new Independent Sales Organizations (ISO), Agents, ISVs, and FI and Non FI Strategic relationships primarily through non-self generated leads which would allow for the expansion of the outside sales ISO, Agent, ISV, and Strategic relationship program for Signature Payments. Responsible for growing a network of prospects to acquire new sales partners and to develop strong relationships with clients to maximize revenue.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and develop new sales partners (Agents/ISO’s/ISV’s/Strategic Partners) via non-self generated leads.

  • Respond to sales partner inquiries generated by company advertising campaigns, media events, and attendance at industry conferences.

  • Sign, activate and grow sales partners in their first 12 months with Signature Payments.  Grow revenue within existing accounts using value selling methods.  

  • Understand products and services of Signature Paymets and provide value based sales skills to secure additional revenue.

  • Conduct effective negotiations pertaining to schedule A, new partner contract etc. 

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.

Education and Experience (required):

  • Minimum three (3) years’ of proven direct merchant services sales experience and/or merchant services sales partner recruitment.

  • Previous experience successfully managing to a revenue quota.

  • Experience recruiting 1099/ISOs via self generated leads

  • Track record of growing revenue.
