Essential Job Functions:

We are currently looking for an experienced Content Writer/Copywriter to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing website content and an exceptional ability to create compelling and engaging copy.


The successful candidate will be responsible for writing website copy for our clients. This includes product descriptions, web pages, blog posts, and other related content. They must also have an understanding of SEO techniques and be able to incorporate them into their writing.

In addition to writing website content, the Copywriter will be expected to proofread and edit existing content, providing feedback on grammar, style, and accuracy. They will also collaborate with copy editors, SEO specialists, web designers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive message throughout our client's website.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and publish engaging copy
  • Ensure that all content created is of high quality
  • Coordinate with the copy editor to ensure error-free content
  • Familiarize yourself with each organization's brand ideals and website to create content that supports their objectives and desired identity
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
  • Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative
  • Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company
  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finish projects within deadlines
  • Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including a content manager, and editors




Requirements

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing Communications OR equivalent work experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year Copywriting and/or SEO Writing experience
  • At least basic knowledge and experience Utilizing WORDPRESS
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of SEO
  • Must understand widely different target audiences
  • Must have excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Ability to edit and proofread clear, concise, and engaging marketing-related copies: must have an eye for detail and be accurate in their work
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with attention to detail within demanding and varying deadlines
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently: must be self-motivated and able to implement
  • Able to work in a team environment: must be available for conference calls with team members
  • Communication and team management skills: must respond quickly to communications


System Requirements

Must have a laptop/personal computer - At least core i3 - Ryzen 3 above

Minimum of 20 MBPS internet connection

A conducive environment for a remote work setup
