Senior Software Engineer (NodeJS + Angular Development)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is motivated to innovate, design, develop, test, and operate cutting-edge, large scalable, and enterprise SaaS security orchestration and automation applications. Senior Software Engineer is a key member of the development team that helps shape the capabilities of the product, create and define functional specifications, and ensure that the final product is of high quality and meets customer needs.Our technology stack includes C#, Dot Net Core, Python, NodeJS, TypeScript, Angular, MongoDB, Postgres, Rest API, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and etcAt Swimlane you will be working with product management and UX teams as well as the engineering teams to design, build and operate next-generation security automation and orchestration platforms and products.

  • Design and develop sub systems of large scale security orchestration and automation platform
  • Design simple, easy to use and complete APIs that enable easier integration with complex 3rd party product eco-system
  • Design and develop systems and applications for scale.
  • Build and deliver security automation products that are intuitive and easy to use.
  • Advocate for developing high-quality software and promote best practices to produce reliable, maintainable, and fault tolerant software.
  • Convert proof of concepts and theories into highly functional systems.
  • Mentor engineering teams, establish best practices and standards
  • Raise the bar on engineering practices and code quality.
  • Work with global cross-functional teams and projects against tight deadlines

Requirement for Principal Software Engineer at Swimlane :

  • BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Computer Science or technology related degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6 to 10 years of progressive software development experience specialized in design, development, and deployment of our cloud-based applications.
  • Deep knowledge of architecture, design and implementation of complex distributed systems
  • In depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and their applications.
  • Solid programming background in NodeJS, Angular, TypeScript. Exposure to Python will be added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience of creating REST APIs, and knowledge on SOAP and GraphQL APIs
  • Strong NoSQL database and SQL knowledge including MongoDB, Postgres or MySQL.
  • Experience in DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes and Github
  • Hands-on experience in developing AWS cloud services to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure for efficient application deployment and operation
  • Responsible for the quality of the code delivered.
  • Experience working closely with customers.
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Security domain knowledge will be added advantage
