We are a leader in innovative smart waste technology and value-added solutions from coast to coast. As we continue our growth trajectory, we are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven individual to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative

This role is a remote but will require regular travel to client sites within British Columbia.

Job Description:

The Business Development Representative will work be responsible for increasing the Waste Solutions Canada client base.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out new business/opportunities
  • Visit potential clients to evaluate needs and/or promote products and services
  • Preparation, negotiation, and execution of service agreements
  • Tackling customer objections
  • Cold call companies, in person, by phone or e-mail in your territory
  • Use a CRM tool to record all customer interactions and manage the entire sales process from original lead generation to closing the deal
  • Assist in the implementation of new programs for clients
  • Present new future opportunities to accounts
  • Develop lists of prospects and potential clients
  • Set up introduction meetings
  • Give sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Help determine pricing schedules and appropriate solutions for prospective clients
  • Responsible for the preparation, negotiation and signing of agreements with clients
  • Upselling additional services and products
  • Meet or exceed new business targets and activity goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in outbound sales 
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 base pay PLUS Commission
