Job description

Who We Are

Since the start, we've focused on building a collaborative environment with remote, geographically distributed teams – within the United States. Trility serves clients from all corners of the United States and globally. While Trility is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, we support remote work and flexible hours.

We look for team members with the grit necessary to forge paths where none previously exist, to get back up when circumstances knock you down, adapt to the changing needs of the client even when it is uncomfortable, and to deliver on our commitments. You respect and value people, recognize that over-communication is barely good enough, thrive on solving complex problems, have a passion for building teams, and know that delivering what a client actually values is more important than your own predispositions. You understand value proposition, love delivering value, and take pride in learning the expansive and ever-changing business of clients. You are self-motivated and relentlessly working to become more today than you were yesterday.

What You Will Do & The Experience You Will Need

Trility Consulting is actively seeking an AppDev Practice Lead who embraces the leadership role on a team and project. In this position, you act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and solve complex technical challenges. You drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the team, fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing.

Preferred location for this teammate is Des Moines, IA or Omaha, NE.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft-related programming languages and technologies (.NET, C#, Angular, Razor, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile frameworks, and DevOps practices
  • Excel in high-level technology thinking and communication in terms of enterprise-wide patterns and reusability
  • Expert communication and presentation skills
  • Foster collaboration with developers using modern processes (pair programming, mobbing, code review)
  • Cultivate highly-functioning teams composed of both Trility and client team members and stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor software consultants, supporting their growth
  • Set and manage client expectations and partner with internal teams
  • Skilled in managing and leveraging conflict to align stakeholders, goals, and priorities
