Put simply, our mission is to be the solutions and the team behind the best experiences for the world’s leading brands. Wherever and whenever needed.

With 170,000 people working across the globe, Foundever™ securely connects brands with their customers 9 million times a day in 60+ languages. Our global footprint makes us one of the few true global players in the BPO industry.

The Opportunity:

This role is ideally suited to a senior bid manager / head of bid management looking for their next step in their career. The Bid Director is a high-impact role responsible for leading and managing the entire bid lifecycle to secure major contracts with key clients across a variety of industries. As Bid Director, you will own the process from bid kick off through to submission, ensuring that our proposals are commercially viable, competitive, and aligned with the strategic goals of the business. This position will involve working closely with sales, solutions, finance, legal, and operational teams to craft compelling, winning proposals that showcase our capabilities and differentiation in the marketplace.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the development of high-quality, client-focused responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and other procurement documents. You will ensure that each bid is tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients while adhering to internal governance and standards. As the leader of the bid team, you will also oversee the creation of bid plans, strategies, and competitive positioning to maximise our chances of winning new business.

The successful candidate will need to be adept at managing multiple high-stakes bids simultaneously, coordinating resources across the business to deliver proposals on time and within scope. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will analyse past bids, client feedback, and market trends to refine our approach and ensure we remain ahead of the competition. This role requires exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of commercial drivers and client needs within the outsourcing and customer service sectors.

As a senior leader, you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing the bid management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in everything we deliver to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end bid management process for high-value and complex client opportunities, ensuring the delivery of winning proposals that meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of bid managers, coordinators, and writers, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency across all bids.
  • Collaborate with the solutions, commercial, and operational teams to develop and refine bid strategies that align with client needs and Foundever’s strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, HR, and operations, to ensure that bids are fully compliant, risk-assessed, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Ensure that all proposals are compelling, clear, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Foundever’s services. Conduct final reviews of bid submissions to ensure consistency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with clients during the bid process to clarify requirements and build strong relationships that enhance the chances of winning the bid.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate within the bid management process, introducing best practices, tools, and methodologies that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Work closely with the finance and commercial teams to ensure all bids are commercially viable, taking into account pricing strategies, profitability targets, and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to bid success rates, process efficiency, and team performance, ensuring continuous improvement and learning within the bid function.
  • Ensure a well-managed bid pipeline, coordinating resources effectively and providing regular updates to senior leadership on bid progress and outcomes.
Your Profile & Experience:

Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in bid management within the BPO or related industry, with a proven track record of managing and winning large, complex bids.

Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team of bid professionals and ensuring high performance across the team.

Bid Expertise: Deep understanding of the bid management lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to submission and client engagement.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic bid plans that align with both client needs and company growth objectives.

The Package:

For the right individual you will be eligible for a very competitive basic salary of £95k per annum with an excellent bonus and commission structure.  You will also receive a great benefits package which includes health care and pension.
