Job description

Roessel Joy has partnered with a well-known Hospital & Healthcare company seeking to hire a Payroll Assistant. This position requires a vaccination and offers a hybrid schedule once up and trained. In this seat, you will be working alongside the Payroll Manager to ensure that employee paychecks are correct, processing all expense reimbursements, and maintaining several benefit plans health including welfare, parking, cafeteria deductions. Additionally, you will be processing all garnishments including check remittances and child support. Looking for some with an aptitude for numbers and attention to detail, a minimum of 2-3 years of business experience with exposure to an inhouse payroll system and strong computer skills (Direct payroll experience strongly preferred), and strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees, department manager, and Human Resources. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide assistance with all functions of ADP.
  • Garnishments and deductions.
  • Provide support in managing requests, questions, and concerns pertaining to payroll.
  • Focus on routines and troubleshooting within all areas of time entry and payroll results when processing payroll.
  • Reviewing accuracy of all payroll input and output files
  • Provide administrative support to Administrative staff.
  • Reconcile payroll reports Quarterly.
  • Reconcile monthly bills
  • Review timesheets


Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel

  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of practices, policies, and procedures for payroll payments, computer literate, and experience
  • Quality-oriented team player.

Salary: $22-$24
