Sr. Linux Admin

This is a Sr. Linux Administrator role and it's a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home from anywhere in the US. Looking for someone with a strong background in Linux administration. This is a hands-on role working collaboratively with various teams. The primary responsibility of the Linux Support Engineer will be the effectively operate, maintain and administer Linux VMs within VMWare and associated subsystems. The role is 95% RHEL, 5% OEI. Any AIX a plus, but not required.
- Responsible for production scheduling and control, service level support, backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, installation/configuration operations and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
- Responsible for administering, managing, provisioning, template creation of virtual servers running various distributions of Linux, mostly RHEL.
