Job description

Salary – circa £42,000 + Company car  

Home based role covering sites across the UK 

Flexible time based on work requirements. Minimum of 37.5 hours per week 

 

We are looking for an ambitious, driven and talented individual to join the Alpheus team as our Service Delivery Manager, to ensure the highest standards of delivery of our operations and maintenance services across the UK.  There will be requirements to attend meetings in Huntingdon at the head office. 

 

Alpheus (the commercial arm of Anglian Water Group) are a successful designer, builder and operator of water and wastewater assets, delivering compliant, cost effective, and reliable water and wastewater solutions for almost thirty years. We are continuing to grow our high-performance organisation both centrally in Huntingdon and across major sites in the UK. 

 

What will you be doing? 

 

Reporting to the UK O&M Manager you’ll have direct leadership and line management responsibilities for our teams of highly skilled and experienced field engineers/plant operators. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and delivering high standards of H&S, performance, quality and compliance across our customer’s sites, along with building great customer relationships. 

 

The successful candidate for this fast paced and hands on role will have demonstrable experience within the water or wastewater operations industry, along with relevant experience in team management or leadership duties. You’ll be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering along with an excellent awareness and understanding of water treatment and compliance. Experience in risk assessment, document control, job planning, inspections/auditing and IT will be desirable, along with an industry standard H&S qualification. 

 

What do you need? 

 

Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication abilities and a dynamic approach to problem resolution will be required. In addition, the ability to identify areas of the business and customer’s sites where improvements can be made will be essential.
