About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Finance professional to join a Top Tier law firm as Legal Billing Administrator within a supportive team environment, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the billing process, including e-billing and will provide invaluable support to Partners and Practice Administrators and ensure seamless coverage for the Finance Billing Coordinators.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of billing inboxes, including handling bill cancellations, write-offs, trust and split bills, and credit notes.
  • Assisting Partners and Practice Administrators with billing inquiries and requests.
  • Setting up client billing guidelines.
  • Loading and managing invoices via e-billing databases.
  • Tracking, maintaining, and reporting on e-billing uploads and issues.
  • Compiling and dispatching invoices for centralized client processing.
  • Aiding in the preparation and dispatch of monthly client reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with billing procedures and protocols.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in finance administration within a professional service setting (preferably legal).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume transactions with precision and diligence.
  • Understanding of Trust accounting regulations and legislative requirements.
  • Capacity to manage high volumes of work, particularly during month-end periods.
