Job description

Seeking a savvy Senior Business Development Executive fluent in German to conquer the German market, boost sales, and nurture client relationships. The Job:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for new and existing customers in Germany, building strong, long-lasting relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate sales with new and existing customers through physical/virtual meetings, phone calls, emails, and other platforms, as applicable and exceed monthly sales quotas and collection targets.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities and trends.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to existing clients, increasing revenue and account profitability.
  • Identify and target key prospects, initiate and nurture relationships, and convert them into long-term clients.
  • Develop and maintain account plans for each customer, setting clear objectives and strategies for account growth and retention.
  • Responsible for preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations for customers.
  • Work closely with cross functioning teams to ensure client needs are met and identify opportunities for client growth.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, providing input for enhancing client strategies.

Requirements

The Person:

  • Native Germans are encouraged to apply. 
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Sales-related roles.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written business German.
  • Experience in selling Software as a Service (SaaS)/apps/software products.
  • Demonstrated sales and customer satisfaction track record, with the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the local market and the related industry is a plus.
  • Energetic with excellent interpersonal skills, a customer service orientation, and strong team collaboration.
  • Innovative with the ability to generate new marketing ideas and strategies.
  • Willingness to work completely remotely as an Independent Contractor.
