Truckload Customer Sales Rep (Remote)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prospect and generate new sales opportunities for the Five Star Trucking. 
• Identify how Five Star Trucking can help potential customers through market intelligence and research. 
• Prepare timely business quotes, bids, rates, and proposals for prospective customers.  
• Gain insight into the customer's or prospect's organization, processes, needs, and wants to better provide solutions. 
• Proactively communicate professionally through high-volume phone calls, email, and other channels. 
• Utilize technologies like Salesforce, Apollo, Highway, Greenscreens and Freight Waves to provide unparalleled customer experiences. 

• Minimum two years' experience in a sales role or in the logistics industry  
• Negotiation skills with the ability to motivate potential customers 
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
• Remain persistent despite challenges and obstacles 
• Sound understanding of sales prospecting tactics and strategy 
• Great writing and communication skills 
• Follow up skills
