This is a remote position.

Sr TeamSite Developer

Gurgaon, Noida, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bangalore

Exp: 5 to 10 years

Skills: CMS, Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, administering Site Publisher sites and assets, creating responsive websites in LiveSite and TeamSite, BitBucket, GitHub, Jira and Confluence.

Role and Responsibilities:

Sr TeamSite and LiveSite developer will play a vital role in the design, development, integration, testing and deployment of Open Text.
TeamSite and LiveSite solutions. You will work closely with other developers, quality engineers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts and end users to build and maintain a state-of-the-art TeamSite and LiveSite based website.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing with TeamSite (version 8 and higher).
Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Experience working with a globally distributed team.
Experience working with top tier Cloud OR off cloud options of TeamSite and LiveSite.
Knows about working of Experience Studio, Personalization and Targeting.
Experience in Third party integrations will be an advantage.
Should have Worked on Templating, DCTs, DCRs, LiveSite components, SitePublisher templates, Workflows and Open Deploy.
Data Deploy knowledge is good to have.
Experience in implementing traditional, hybrid and headless web applications
Having good knowledge and experience on LiveSite FE (responsive) and Backend Administrative.
Should have good knowledge in tagging and LiveSite Runtime Display Services.
Knowledge of CDN tool and integrate/config with Webservers.
Experience with authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
Work alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers and architects, and product developers
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and approaches
Experience in Agile development practices
Ability to get things done without being micromanaged
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Require minimal supervision and provide oversight for assigned projects
Prepare proposals and time estimates for future work
Schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications
Proven ability to be effective and adaptable in response to frequent change and ambiguity
Tools: Jira, Confluence, VISIO (or other similar tool), wireframing tools (i.e. Balsamiq), Postman

Requirements

Strong experience with TeamSite Administration and its configurations.
Solid experience with TeamSite Templating DCT, DCR, SitePublisher components and templates that are building blocks of website.
Strong understanding in Core Java concepts related to External Components Development, and patterns including: Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Sling, JMS, JUnit, AOP, MVC.
Comfortable with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML.
Experience with development and in-depth knowledge of XML, XSLs and JSON, SPAs.
Good to have working experience in JavaScript frameworks/libraries (jQuery, Grunt, Bootstrap etc.) and CSS pre-processing platforms (SASS).
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools.
Experience with secure coding practices.
